Atlassian Architect - Cloud Migrations (Remote)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Atlassian Architect - Cloud Migrations to join our team remotely. In this role, you will take charge of the strategic planning and evaluation of complex Atlassian migrations in an enterprise environment. As a trusted advisor, you will analyze system landscapes and develop scalable migration strategies that enhance our cloud and migration portfolio.

What You'll Do

• Lead migration assessments and develop comprehensive migration strategies and roadmaps.
• Conduct discovery workshops and coordinate with stakeholders at various levels.
• Analyze system landscapes, integrations, and risks to provide strategic recommendations.
• Present actionable recommendations to C-level executives.
• Support presales efforts by developing and positioning migration solutions.
• Collaborate closely with presales, delivery, and consulting teams, acting as a central interface between strategy, implementation, and operations.
• Mentor consultants and actively contribute to the development of best practices, methods, and standards within the company.
• Build market expertise through contributions to webinars, industry events, and customer formats.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in the Atlassian ecosystem (Jira, Confluence, ideally JSM).
• Experience in an architect, lead, or similar role focusing on conceptual and strategic work (not just implementation).
• Strong knowledge of cloud and/or data center migrations.
• Deep understanding of system architectures, integrations, and complex IT landscapes.
• Confident in customer interactions, including management and C-level engagements.
• Experience in facilitating workshops and managing stakeholders.
• Ability to present technical concepts convincingly in presales or consulting contexts.
• Fluent in both German and English.

• Certifications in Atlassian products.
• Experience with agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices.
