Associate Industrial Engineer - Remote Opportunities

What You'll Do
- Utilize data from business systems to analyze shop floor practices and processes for opportunities to develop daily work plans, minimize scrap, reduce costs, increase capacity, and optimize schedules.
- Analyze shop floor data and develop metrics for daily performance management, including daily earnings, efficiency, work in progress, cost, and schedule.
- Provide support to the manufacturing floor by collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify frontline problems and implement cost-saving solutions.
- Develop and iterate on detailed production build schedules by working closely with Production Operations.
- Assess current state and implement impactful solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Must be completing or have completed a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, majoring in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) degree.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a prerequisite).
- For Industrial Engineer candidates, a Master’s degree or a Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of experience in Aerospace, Industrial Engineering, or a Manufacturing environment is required.
- Experience with Excel, including macros, data modeling, and pivot tables.
- Familiarity with database coding using SQL, Python, and Power BI is preferred.
Nice to Have
- Overall cumulative GPA of 3.25/4.0 or higher.
- Previous internship/co-op experience in a related field.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and teamwork capabilities.

- Competitive salary range for Associate Industrial Engineer: $59,900 to $89,900 and for Industrial Engineer: $72,100 to $108,100.
