About the Role

We are looking for an Assistant to the Regional Operations Manager to join our team remotely. In this role, you will be more than just an organizational support; you will actively shape the future of the circular economy alongside our Regional Operations Manager. This position offers a unique opportunity to dive deep into operational and strategic processes, preparing you for future leadership roles within our company.

What You'll Do

  • Prepare regional performance metrics and work directly with the Operations Manager.
  • Identify causes for target deviations and develop initial solutions for alignment.
  • Assist in implementing agreed measures across branches after consultation with the Operations Manager.
  • Support branch managers and dispatchers to achieve operational goals collaboratively.
  • Engage in logistics projects and organize training sessions to enhance on-site performance.
  • Oversee operational projects, maintain deadlines, and create impactful presentations and reports for the management team.
  • Contribute to the calculation process for new business opportunities and conduct independent follow-up calculations.

Requirements

  • Successful completion of a degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or Logistics.
  • Proven experience in project management or interfacing roles, ideally in logistics, waste management, or industry.
  • Strong numerical skills and proficiency in IT tools (Google Workspace).
  • Ability to translate complex data into strategic recommendations.
  • Excellent organizational skills, capable of prioritizing independently under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills to engage both management and operational teams effectively.
  • Willingness to travel regionally and immerse yourself in daily operations to identify optimization potentials.

  • Experience in process optimization and strategic planning.
  • Familiarity with logistics software and tools.
  • Leadership experience in team settings.
