About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Aquaculture Production Manager to join our innovative team at Sea Eight. This remote opportunity allows you to lead a sustainable aquaculture project focused on cutting-edge Recirculating Aquaculture Systems (RAS). As an Aquaculture Production Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing production processes, ensuring environmental sustainability, and managing a dedicated team.

What You'll Do

• Supervise and coordinate aquaculture production activities.
• Lead, organize, and provide technical support to production teams.
• Manage and control the operation of RAS systems.
• Monitor and analyze physical-chemical parameters of water quality.
• Engage in continuous improvement of production processes.
• Analyze production data and prepare comprehensive reports.
• Promote biosecurity, animal welfare, and sustainability standards.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in aquaculture.
• University degree in Biology, Marine Sciences, Veterinary, Engineering, or related fields.
• Knowledge of RAS operations and water quality parameters.
• Experience in aquaculture feed management.
• Prior experience in intensive production environments.
• Proficient in Excel and aquaculture-related software applications.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to coordinate operational tasks.
• Experience in procurement and inventory control.
