About the Role
We are excited to announce an opportunity for an Airport Manager to join Volaris, the leading airline in Mexico. This Airport Manager remote position will allow you to play a crucial role in ensuring the operational efficiency and administration of our airport operations, focusing on profitability, safety, and customer service.
What You'll Do
- Oversee the daily operations of the airport, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Manage human and financial resources effectively to optimize airport operations.
- Monitor and control baggage handling processes to ensure timely and secure delivery.
- Conduct training for operational staff, both in-house and subcontracted, to meet regulatory standards.
- Engage with suppliers and ground handling teams to maintain operational excellence.
- Prepare for and respond to internal and external audits of airport operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in airport management or related fields.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a leadership role within airport operations.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Familiarity with Go Now Navitaire and airport reservation systems.
- Intermediate English proficiency is required.
- Full availability for flexible working hours.
