Administrative Officer - Remote Opportunity at Action for Children

About the Role

We are seeking an Administrative Officer to join our team at Action for Children. This is a fantastic opportunity to work remotely and contribute to a meaningful cause. As an Administrative Officer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Temporary Agency Workers Solution (TAWS) team, ensuring a smooth recruitment process that positively impacts the lives of vulnerable children.

What You'll Do

• Deliver a consultative temporary recruitment service to hiring managers, ensuring compliance with Action for Children’s policies.
• Coordinate communication between candidates and hiring managers to enhance their experience throughout the recruitment process.
• Support hiring managers by keeping vacancy details updated and ensuring compliance with documentation requirements.
• Provide training support to hiring managers and suppliers on using the TAWS technology effectively.
• Monitor assignment start and end dates, confirming all information is complete and accurate.

Requirements

• Minimum of Business Administration S/NVQ Level 2 or equivalent relevant qualification or work experience.
• Previous experience in the recruitment sector.
• Strong verbal communication skills to engage with a range of stakeholders.
• Working knowledge of key employment laws affecting temporary agency workers.
• Ability to develop relationships remotely across multiple locations.

Nice to Have

• Experience in educating and influencing hiring managers and suppliers.
• Familiarity with GDPR and safer recruitment practices.
• Proficiency in using end-to-end procurement systems.
