Account Executive - Expansion for SMBs (Remote)

About the Role

We are looking for an Account Executive for Expansion in the SMB sector to join our dynamic team at Deel. This Account Executive role is fully remote and offers a unique opportunity to be part of a fast-growing company that is revolutionizing the way global talent connects with world-class companies. You will play a critical role in driving our mission forward by engaging with clients and showcasing the value of our all-in-one payroll and HR platform.

What You'll Do

  • Communicate with clients to understand their needs and explain product value effectively.
  • Manage the full sales cycle for renewals, upselling, and cross-selling using cross-departmental expertise.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to facilitate client needs fulfillment and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Proactively engage cross-functionally to bring new product development, client engagement, and competitive intelligence strategies to the larger team.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and yearly revenue targets, contributing to the overall success of the company.
  • Maintain accurate SFDC data: accounts, opportunities, pipeline, and forecasts.
  • Resolve complaints and prevent additional issues by improving processes.
  • Act as a client advocate with a focus on improving the buyer experience.

Requirements

  • Located in EMEA with a minimum of 3 years of closing sales experience, including at least 2 years selling into the Benelux market.
  • A proven track record of developing a greenfield territory and expanding business.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce (SFDC) is essential.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams to ensure Customer Success and satisfaction.
  • Desire to work for a fast-paced startup and take on increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English and Dutch.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in the SaaS industry.
  • Familiarity with payroll and HR solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
