Yard Lead - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We're hiring a Yard Lead to join our team remotely. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing a variety of tasks in an industrial manufacturing environment, ensuring the safe and efficient movement and organization of precast concrete products.

What You'll Do

• Operate industrial forklifts and loaders to transport inventory, unload incoming stock, and load orders.
• Pull and stage orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Load customer trucks based on shipping tickets, maintaining high quality standards.
• Push aggregate material utilizing a loader, contributing to production efficiency.
• Complete weekly equipment inspections to ensure safety and functionality.
• Keep the work area safe, clean, and organized, promoting a positive work environment.
• Interface with customer service, technical service, and delivery personnel to ensure smooth operations.
• Other responsibilities may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment preferred.
• Experience operating forklifts with > 18k lb. capacity.
• Prior experience utilizing loaders is preferred.
• Knowledge of basic math and measurements.
• Ability to read/write simple instructions and communicate effectively with team members.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. periodically throughout the day.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
