VP of People Operations - AI-First Remote Role
About the Role
We are seeking a VP of People Operations remote to join Crossover's People and Talent Operations team. This role is designed for recruiting professionals who are ready to architect a transformative hiring process. You will not just move candidates through a funnel; you will build a system that attracts the right talent, measures genuine capability, and ensures high-quality hires that meet our standards.
What You'll Do
- Architect role specifications, organizational charts, career ladders, and RACIs that align with business needs and hiring objectives.
- Develop AI-assisted job advertisements that attract the right candidates without manual sourcing.
- Create screening and assessment systems that evaluate skills, judgment, and transferable experience beyond resumes.
- Apply your knowledge of U.S. hiring practices to guide stakeholders and identify risks.
- Utilize AI to generate drafts, variations, and analyses to enhance efficiency.
- Leverage post-hire performance data to continuously refine hiring processes and pipelines.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in recruiting or people operations.
- Hands-on experience in designing or operating assessment-based hiring pipelines.
- Proficient in producing organizational artifacts such as role specifications and competency frameworks.
- Strong understanding of U.S. hiring practices and compliance considerations.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on clarity and action.
- Ability to work autonomously in a global, remote environment.
- Practical experience using AI in recruitment processes.
- Availability for at least four hours overlapping U.S. business hours.
Nice-to-Have Requirements
- Experience in organizational design or workforce planning.
- Familiarity with low-code tools or automation platforms.
- Experience creating dashboards for executive audiences.
- Background in high-growth or private-equity-backed environments.
