VP Engineering /​ CTO - AI-Driven SaaS Transformation

About the Role

We are seeking a visionary VP Engineering / CTO to lead our engineering team at Azur Technology, a pioneering AI-augmented SaaS provider. This VP Engineering / CTO remote position offers a unique opportunity to drive the transformation of our flagship product, MGA Connect, into a cutting-edge platform that redefines insurance technology.

What You'll Do

• Lead a global team of over 50 engineers, fostering a culture of high performance and AI-enabled development.
• Bridge the gap between our established Salesforce architecture and future AI-driven efficiencies.
• Own the technology strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and product roadmaps.
• Implement robust delivery processes, enhancing predictability and quality of engineering outputs.
• Embed AI into engineering workflows to enhance developer productivity and accelerate testing and QA processes.
• Establish and enforce a strong CI/CD discipline and automation-first testing strategy.
• Define and track key engineering metrics to drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure the security and compliance of our platform, adhering to frameworks such as SOC 2 and ISO 27001.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a VP Engineering, Head of Engineering, or CTO in a product-led SaaS environment.
• Strong operational focus with a track record of delivering results and transforming teams from services-led to product-led.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of simplifying complex ideas for senior stakeholders.
• Commercially minded with an understanding of how technology decisions impact revenue and operational performance.
• Experience with Salesforce, FSC, and core Apex & LWC is desirable.
• Familiarity with the insurance or MGA sector is a plus.
