Vice President of People & Talent - Remote Leadership Role

About the Role

Armada is seeking a Vice President of People & Talent to lead our global People organization. This remote role is crucial for building and scaling our People infrastructure, ensuring that we support sustained company growth while maintaining compliance and operational excellence. As the Vice President of People & Talent, you will oversee Global People Operations, Talent Acquisition, and Workspaces, ensuring that our systems evolve alongside our business needs.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement a scalable global People Operations function that aligns with Armada's mission.
• Partner with Legal to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
• Oversee payroll, benefits, and vendor management to support our diverse workforce.
• Establish operational standards that balance global consistency with local nuances.
• Lead the Talent Acquisition strategy to enhance our hiring processes and improve time-to-hire.
• Architect the People Systems & Technology Ecosystem to optimize our HRIS, ATS, and performance tools.
• Elevate organizational maturity by defining clear roles and performance standards.
• Own the Workspaces & Employee Experience Infrastructure to ensure productivity across remote teams.

Requirements

• 12+ years of progressive leadership experience in People Operations and Talent Acquisition.
• Experience in complex technical environments, ideally across both software and hardware.
• Demonstrated success in scaling distributed teams internationally.
• Strong partnership experience with Legal and Finance in compliance-focused organizations.
• Proven ability to design and optimize People systems and technology platforms.

Nice to Have

• Experience with financial management and budget oversight in a People function.
• Familiarity with HR technology trends and best practices.
• Previous experience in a startup or high-growth environment.
