About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Vice President of Accreditation and Regulatory Affairs to join our team in a fully remote capacity. As the Vice President, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of our accreditation and regulatory affairs initiatives, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. This is a unique opportunity to lead a dynamic team and make a significant impact in the education sector.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the development and implementation of accreditation and regulatory strategies that align with organizational goals.
  • Oversee compliance with federal and state regulations, ensuring adherence to best practices in accreditation processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive strategic planning and decision-making related to accreditation and regulatory affairs.
  • Manage relationships with regulatory bodies and accreditation organizations to advocate for the institution's interests.
  • Provide guidance and support to senior leadership on accreditation-related matters, including FDA submissions and compliance in the biotech and pharma sectors.
  • Develop and implement training programs for staff on accreditation standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor industry trends and changes in regulations to proactively address potential impacts on the organization.
  • Foster a culture of compliance and continuous improvement within the organization.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in accreditation and regulatory affairs, preferably in the education sector.
  • Proven track record in leadership roles, with experience managing multi-campus operations.
  • Strong understanding of compliance regulations and accreditation processes in the education and healthcare sectors.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience in strategic planning and risk management.
  • Advanced degree in a relevant field (e.g., Education, Regulatory Affairs, Business Administration).
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote work environment.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in biotech or pharmaceutical regulatory affairs.
  • Familiarity with FDA submissions, INDs, and NDA processes.
  • Knowledge of corporate communications and public affairs strategies.
