Transcare Nurse - Remote Opportunity in Homecare Nursing

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Transcare Nurse to join our Clinical Homecare Nursing team in a remote capacity. This role allows you to provide individualized quality nursing care to patients requiring Parenteral Nutrition and other IV therapies in the comfort of their own homes. As a Transcare Nurse, you will work autonomously while delivering high-quality clinical care outside of a hospital setting.

What You'll Do

• Administer prescribed IV therapies and associated care to patients who are unable to be trained to independence.
• Provide training and education to support patients and their carers in the connection and disconnection of Parenteral Nutrition and other prescribed therapies.
• Support the provision of a phlebotomy/cannulation service for patients.
• Ensure excellent communication and time management skills to work effectively against strict timescales.
• Make correct clinical decisions in emergency situations.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse with current NMC registration (adult).
• Minimum of 1 year of current clinical experience.
• Competent in the management and delivery of IV therapies.
• Flexibility to travel and visit patients outside the local area.
• Current valid driving license.

• Experience in homecare settings.
• Knowledge of infusion devices.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
