Quality Engineer - Automotive Industry (Remote)

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Quality Engineer to join our team at Tenneco. This Quality Engineer role offers the opportunity to work remotely while contributing to the automotive industry. As a Quality Engineer, you will ensure compliance with IATF 16949 standards and lead quality documentation processes.

What You'll Do

• Ensure adherence to IATF 16949 requirements in all quality processes.
• Manage quality documentation including CP, APQP, PPAP, and 8D reports.
• Engage directly with clients to address complaints and participate in audits.
• Coordinate new product launches from a quality perspective.
• Collaborate with process, product, quality control, and production engineering teams.

Requirements

• Experience in quality assurance within the automotive sector.
• Proficient in English (minimum B2 level); German is a plus.
• Familiarity with IATF 16949 standards and quality tools.
• Ability to work with technical documentation.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication.

Nice to Have

• Experience with quality management systems.
• Knowledge of statistical process control.
• Familiarity with automotive manufacturing processes.
