About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated Stock Controller to join our team at Giorgio Armani. This Stock Controller remote position offers a unique opportunity to manage and oversee all aspects of inventory and stock management processes in our prestigious store located in Harrods. As a Stock Controller, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that the right products are available at the right time while minimizing stock discrepancies and losses.

What You'll Do

• Manage the inventory and stock management process, including receiving, storing, and distributing merchandise.
• Conduct regular stock audits and analyze data to optimize inventory turnover.
• Prepare bi-annual stock takes to reconcile physical inventory with system records.
• Implement and enforce stock control procedures and security measures.
• Collaborate with various departments to resolve stock-related issues.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stock replenishment and merchandising activities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to stock management.
• Participate in store meetings and training as required.

Requirements

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Basic Microsoft Office proficiency and numerical ability.
• Previous experience in stock operations or retail operations is preferred.
• Knowledge of stock control procedures and inventory management principles.
