Technical Writer for JetBrains Cloud Platform - Remote

About the Role

We are looking for a Technical Writer to join the JetBrains Cloud Platform team. This Technical Writer remote position offers an exciting opportunity to document innovative products that empower developers. You will work closely with various teams to ensure that our documentation meets the needs of users and stakeholders.

What You'll Do

• Document the platform’s subsystems for user and license management, AI-specific governance, and analytics.
• Create both end-user documentation and internal documentation for development teams.
• Coordinate with product managers, designers, QA engineers, and developers to gather information and ensure clarity in documentation.
• Plan and prepare documentation for upcoming features in time for releases.
• Utilize the docs-as-code approach to integrate documentation with product development processes.

Requirements

• Experience documenting new and quickly evolving products, technologies, and frameworks.
• A sincere interest in modern AI, including LLMs and agents.
• Strong English language skills with the ability to write clearly and empathize with readers.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage time effectively.
• Familiarity with programming languages, preferably Kotlin or Java, is a plus.

Nice to Have

• Understanding of software development concepts and tools such as APIs, REST, Git, and CI/CD.
• Experience with any programming language.
