About the Role
Whatnot is seeking a dedicated Technical Program Manager for Payments to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time remote position based in the USA, where you will play a crucial role in overseeing and enhancing our payment systems. As a Technical Program Manager, Payments, you will ensure that our payment processes are efficient, secure, and scalable, contributing to the overall success of our platform.
What You'll Do
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver payment solutions that meet business objectives.
- Manage the entire project lifecycle from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery of payment features.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations teams to define requirements and prioritize projects.
- Analyze payment data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including timelines, budgets, and status reports.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to keep them informed of project progress and challenges.
- Implement best practices in project management and payment processing.

Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager or similar role, preferably in payments or financial technology.
- Strong understanding of payment processing systems and technologies.
- Proven track record of managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
