Technical /​ Functional Regulatory Reporting Specialist - Remote

About the Role

We are seeking a Technical / Functional Regulatory Reporting Specialist to join our team at Talan. This remote position offers the opportunity to work with leading financial institutions while focusing on regulatory reporting, particularly the FR 2052A report.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain regulatory reporting solutions using Oracle PL/SQL.
• Own the FR 2052A report end to end, from requirements and design to delivery and validation.
• Work closely with business and regulatory teams to understand reporting requirements.
• Translate business needs into clear technical and functional solutions.
• Build and maintain data structures (data marts, reporting tables) used for regulatory reporting.
• Perform data analysis, reconciliation, and validation to ensure report accuracy.
• Support testing, production releases, and ongoing enhancements.
• Troubleshoot issues and respond to regulatory changes or audit requests.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in regulatory reporting within a financial institution.
• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle PL/SQL.
• Mandatory experience with FR 2052A regulatory reporting.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of reports.
• Experience working directly with business users and technical teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Axiom is a plus.
