Technical Claims Handler - Remote Opportunity
About the Role
We’re looking for a Technical Claims Handler remote to join our Sopp+Sopp team at Activate Group. As a Technical Claims Handler, you will play a vital role in managing vehicle claims from start to finish, ensuring that our customers receive the highest standard of service.
What You'll Do
- Make outbound and receive inbound calls to and from customers, clients, third parties, and repairers.
- Manage vehicle claims end-to-end from repair instruction to completion, escalating issues only when necessary.
- Utilize Activate Group's bespoke software and databases to record, update, and maintain information related to each claim.
- Prioritize your workload effectively to ensure all claims are progressing and receiving high-quality customer service.
- Provide accurate updates to team managers and customers as required.
- Ensure that all Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met and exceeded.
- Communicate and collaborate with all parties involved to achieve an optimal repair journey.
Requirements
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to handle a high volume of calls daily.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage your own time and workload effectively.
- Experience in a target-driven and fast-paced environment is desirable.
- Previous experience within the insurance and claims industry is a plus.
Nice to Have
- Experience in a similar role within the insurance sector.
- Proficiency in using claims management software.
- Knowledge of vehicle repair processes.
