Are you ready to kickstart your career as a Tech Graduate Program – Azure DevOps Engineer remote? What You'll Do

  • Work on creating, improving, and supporting modern technology tools and solutions that help UBS maintain its position as the world’s leading global wealth manager.
  • Build tech solutions that address real business problems and enhance UBS’s digital-first approach in financial services.
  • Deploy, monitor, and support applications running in a shared Kubernetes environment.
  • Utilize GitLab Pipelines and Terraform to manage cloud infrastructure (IaC) across Microsoft Azure services, exploring automation and support tasks.
  • Design and deliver long-lasting solutions using modern programming languages.
  • Ensure thorough testing and control before transitioning from testing to production.
  • Investigate incidents or issues and provide clear explanations of their causes.
  • Collaborate with teams across various technology areas (databases, UNIX, cloud) to solve complex problems.
  • Document the solutions delivered and review code written by teammates, providing constructive feedback.

Requirements

  • Basic understanding of cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.
  • Foundational knowledge of networking concepts, operating systems, distributed systems, data structures, and containerization.
  • Familiarity with DevOps toolchains for source control, build, test, and deployment (CI/CD).
  • Scripting experience in one or more of the following languages: Python, PowerShell, Bash, or Groovy.
  • Proactive mindset with a genuine interest in building a career in DevOps and IT engineering.
  • Good communication skills and confidence in an English-speaking environment.

Nice to Have

  • Basic knowledge of Java.
  • Exposure to Kubernetes or container orchestration concepts.
