What You'll Do
- Prepare federal and multi-state income tax returns.
- Complete various projects within engagement timelines.
- Utilize tax preparation software effectively.
- Perform self-reviews of your work.
- Conduct tax technical research as assigned.
- Build relationships with firm professionals.
- Participate in training and firm activities.
- Work with a buddy and performance manager for development.
Requirements
- On track to complete a bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting by June 2028.
- Available to work 30-40+ hours from Mid-January to Mid-April.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 overall and in accounting.
- Active membership in an accounting organization.
- Strong technical aptitude and communication skills.
- Leadership skills with good judgment and problem-solving abilities.
- Able to learn quickly and receptive to feedback.
- Strong multi-tasking and prioritization skills.
- High attention to detail and positive team player attitude.
Nice to Have
- Previous internship experience in tax or accounting.
