Tanium Administrator/​Operator - Remote Position

About the Role

We are looking for a Tanium Administrator/Operator remote to join our team at Conviso Inc. This fully remote position requires an active DoD Secret Clearance and offers the opportunity to support a mission-critical federal program. As a Tanium Administrator/Operator, you will play a vital role in ensuring secure, compliant, and efficient IT operations within a defense agency environment.

What You'll Do

• Manage the Tanium platform by deploying, configuring, and administering Tanium modules for asset discovery, vulnerability management, compliance monitoring, and patching.
• Monitor endpoint health, investigate vulnerabilities, and coordinate remediation across enterprise environments to ensure endpoint security.
• Track and report system/network compliance aligned with DoD standards (e.g., STIGs, NIST, RMF).
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and manage work through Jira ticketing to enhance collaboration and efficiency.
• Develop dashboards, compliance reports, and technical documentation; escalate issues as needed to maintain operational excellence.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, knowledge sharing, and operational efficiency within the team.

Requirements

• Active DoD Secret Clearance is required for this Tanium Administrator/Operator remote position.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Tanium (Interact, Patch, Deploy, and/or other modules).
• Experience in supporting endpoint security, patch management, and vulnerability remediation.
• Familiarity with DoD compliance frameworks (STIGs, NIST, RMF).
• Proficient in Agile methodologies and using Jira for project management.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with additional Tanium modules (Comply, Asset, Discover, Threat Response).
• Background supporting classified or government environments.
• Experience with Windows and Linux systems.
• Familiarity with SIEM tools and enterprise IT infrastructure.
