Systems Engineer - Level 3/​4 (Remote Opportunities Available)

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Systems Engineer - Level 3 or Level 4 to join our team at Northrop Grumman. This Systems Engineer remote position offers an exciting opportunity to work on revolutionary systems that impact lives around the world. What You'll Do

• Develop and release Systems Engineering Artifacts, including Specifications, Technical Document Architectures, and Test Plans.
• Collaborate with multiple functional engineering groups to synthesize requirements and integrate new technologies into implementable designs.
• Participate in Engineering Development, Production, and Deployment Milestones, ensuring that all systems meet rigorous standards.
• Review and provide feedback on engineering drawings and documentation.
• Document and voice process improvements and new technologies for consideration in implementation.

Requirements

• Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security clearance.
• For Level 3: 5 years of relevant experience with a completed Bachelor's degree in STEM; 3 years with a Master's; or 1 year with a Ph.D.
• For Level 4: 8 years of relevant experience with a completed Bachelor's degree in STEM; 6 years with a Master's; or 4 years with a Ph.D.
• Experience with requirements development, decomposition, and software verification.
• Familiarity with Agile programs and methodology, and experience using Atlassian tools (Jira and Confluence).

Nice to Have

• Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and tools like Cameo and DOORS.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and MATLAB.
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
