About the Role

We are seeking a Sustainable Business Strategies Intern to join our team remotely. As a part of Acciona, a global leader in regenerative infrastructure, you will contribute to impactful projects aimed at addressing global challenges such as climate change and resource scarcity.

What You'll Do

• Contribute to the development of regenerative business models that prioritize the restoration of natural and social capital.
• Support the financial structuring of hybrid projects, including green infrastructure and circular economy initiatives.
• Learn to translate data into investment arguments for senior management audiences.
• Collaborate in designing modeling tools that connect environmental and social indicators with financial returns.
• Explore applied engineering frameworks for regenerative solutions in water, distributed energy, waste, and mobility.

Requirements

• Final year student or Master's candidate in Engineering, Architecture, Economics, Business, Environmental Sciences, Physics, Mathematics, or related fields.
• Demonstrated interest in strategic sustainability, impact finance, or systemic design.
• Analytical and quantitative skills: basic financial modeling, data analysis, structured thinking.
• Familiarity with frameworks like circular economy, biomimicry, Doughnut Economics, blended finance, or carbon markets.
• Proficiency in analytical tools (advanced Excel, Python, R) and data visualization.
• High level of English; Portuguese is a plus.

• Curiosity to connect engineering, ecology, and economics in a unified analytical framework.
