About the Role
We're hiring a Support Engineer to join our growing team at Close. This remote Support Engineer position is perfect for those who are passionate about solving technical problems and helping customers succeed. What You'll Do
- Handle technical support tickets during US business hours, focusing on API questions and complex technical issues.
- Write Python scripts for data imports, cleanup, and reporting to streamline support processes.
- Assist customers with API usage, migrations, and data transformations to ensure their success.
- Contribute to documentation and provide feedback to engineering based on real-world usage patterns.
- Experiment with AI tools and automation approaches to improve workflows and enhance customer interactions.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience with Python, including building scripts and automating workflows.
- Strong customer focus with experience in customer-facing roles.
- Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to document work clearly.
- Comfortable working autonomously in a fully remote team environment.
- Located in US time zones (ET, CT, MT, or PT).
Nice to Have
- Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Familiarity with web scraping tools like BeautifulSoup or Scrapy.
- Experience at API-first companies like Stripe or Twilio.
