Student Software Tester - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are looking for a Student Software Tester to join our quality assurance team at collana. This role offers a unique opportunity to dive into the world of software quality while working remotely. What You'll Do

• Conduct manual software testing as part of our development and release processes.
• Analyze requirements and derive suitable test cases.
• Document your test results and collaborate closely with our development teams.
• Log bugs and anomalies using tools like Jira and Azure DevOps.
• Contribute to the enhancement of our testing standards.
• Optional: Gain insights into test automation using tools like Playwright and Selenium.

Requirements

• You are a registered student in (Business) Informatics or a related field.
• You have an interest in software testing and want to gain practical experience.
• You are detail-oriented, can think logically, and enjoy troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with XML, JSON, or SQL is a plus but not mandatory.
• You communicate clearly and reliably in German, both spoken and written.
• Experience with tools like SoapUI, Postman, Azure DevOps, Jira, or Visual Studio Code is beneficial.
• Curiosity, willingness to learn, and a desire to take on responsibility.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in software testing or quality assurance.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks.
