About the Role

We are seeking a Staff Solution Architect - EMEA Remote to join Honeycomb, a leading B2B SaaS company redefining observability in developer tools. In this role, you will collaborate with world-class engineering organizations to solve complex challenges and influence strategic opportunities. This position offers the chance to work with notable companies like HelloFresh, Slack, and Vanguard, making a significant impact in the tech industry.

What You'll Do

  • Drive technical strategy on Honeycomb’s largest, most complex deals, partnering with Strategic AEs and Sales Leadership across the region.
  • Lead discovery, solution design, and executive conversations that connect Honeycomb’s platform to real engineering and business priorities.
  • Own the technical win by shaping success criteria, guiding POCs, and building stakeholder conviction from first call to close.
  • Advise engineering leaders and executives on AI-era observability and modern operations.
  • Turn complex customer environments into clear architectures and solution narratives.
  • Leverage AI tools to enhance efficiency and creativity while maintaining accuracy.
  • Get hands-on when necessary to unblock technical issues and help customers prove outcomes.
  • Deliver demos, workshops, and presentations that engage and inform.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of pre-sales, solution architecture, or customer-facing technical experience in B2B SaaS.
  • A track record of winning complex, high-value deals with sophisticated buying committees.
  • Experience selling into developer, platform, SRE, or engineering-led organizations.
  • Strong solutioning skills and the ability to simplify complexity.
  • Hands-on fluency across modern cloud environments, containers, Kubernetes, and API-driven architectures.
  • Strong working knowledge of observability, distributed tracing, and OpenTelemetry.
  • Experience owning complex POCs and evaluations.
  • A collaborative, cross-functional approach with experience influencing Product, Engineering, and GTM teams.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with MEDDPICC or Command of the Message.
  • Willingness to travel ~20% for customer engagements and field events.
