About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) - Remote to join our innovative team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality and performance of our software products through effective test automation strategies. As a Staff SDET, you will work closely with developers and product managers to design and implement robust testing frameworks that enhance our software development lifecycle.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Design and implement test automation frameworks for various applications, including REST APIs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define testing requirements and strategies.
• Conduct performance testing and provide insights to improve application performance.
• Mentor junior team members and share best practices in test automation.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Utilize CI/CD tools to integrate automated tests into the deployment pipeline.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in test automation and software development.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, or similar.
• Knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools.
• Familiarity with performance testing methodologies and tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
