About the Role

We are seeking a Staff Product Designer - AI to join our innovative team at Talkdesk. This remote position allows you to shape the future of customer experience automation through AI. You will be a senior individual contributor, focusing on designing AI-powered products that enhance user interactions.

What You'll Do

• Lead end-to-end design for complex, AI-driven product initiatives, ensuring alignment across multiple teams.
• Translate strategic problems into clear frameworks, user journeys, and interaction patterns.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering leadership to define long-term vision and success metrics for AI products.
• Utilize generative AI and other AI tools throughout the design process, maintaining a human-centered approach.
• Design responsible AI experiences that prioritize transparency and user control.
• Drive the evolution of the Talkdesk Design System for AI surfaces, ensuring scalability and cohesion.
• Facilitate workshops and design sprints to align teams around AI opportunities.
• Mentor junior designers, enhancing their skills in design quality and strategic impact.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in designing digital products for B2B SaaS.
• Deep mastery of interaction design and systems design for complex workflows.
• Proven experience designing AI-enhanced products such as conversational interfaces and automation tools.
• Strong understanding of modern AI concepts and their application in user experiences.
• Exceptional visual storytelling and communication skills.
• Experience in leading cross-functional initiatives and aligning stakeholders.
• Proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools.
