Senior CMS Developer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior CMS Developer to join our team remotely. As a Senior CMS Developer, you will play a crucial role in redesigning and modernizing our Contentful architecture. This position is ideal for someone with advanced content modeling expertise and a passion for creating efficient content management systems. You will work closely with our content teams to ensure a seamless editorial experience and enable faster publishing and experimentation velocity.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement a single scalable Contentful space aligned with defined content models and authoring requirements.
• Streamline the environment structure to best-practice models using Production and Preview environments.
• Introduce reusable, reference-based page templates to enhance the editorial experience.
• Implement live preview and “click to Edit” features to reduce developer dependency for content updates.
• Align Contentful with Alto design system components to ensure scalability and integration with experimentation platforms.
• Define a single, scalable content model that facilitates efficient content management.
• Work on content synchronization and execute large-scale content and model migrations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape requirements and improve governance and publishing workflows.

Requirements

• Advanced content modeling expertise with a strong understanding of headless CMS patterns.
• Experience implementing live preview and environment strategies.
• Design system integration experience, particularly with MicroFrontend Architecture.
• Knowledge of frontend architectures and CMS integration with experimentation platforms.
• Proven track record in executing large-scale content migrations and synchronizations.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Kameleoon or similar experimentation platforms.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
