About the Role

We are seeking a Staff Network Engineer to join our team at Northrop Grumman. What You'll Do

  • Design and plan network communication systems, providing specifications and detailed schematics for network architecture.

  • Maintain technical expertise in routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
  • Collaborate with team members and work independently to ensure mission success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in STEM with 12+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 10+ years, or a PhD with 8+ years.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with an adjudicated full-scope polygraph at the time of application.
  • Security+ certification is required.
  • Willingness to travel a minimum of 20%.
  • Experience with designing additions to a large network.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of firewall hardware and software.
  • Experience with CISCO routers and switches.
  • Familiarity with COMSEC equipment.
  • Linux and Windows knowledge.
