Staff Frontend Software Engineer - Transforming Data Access

We are seeking a Staff Frontend Software Engineer - Remote to join Sigma Computing, where we are transforming how businesses run by delivering a high-performance platform on modern data architecture. What You'll Do

• Develop elegant and responsive user experiences using the latest front-end technologies.
• Own substantial pieces of the product, from design to launch, ensuring a seamless user experience.
• Collaborate with product, UX design, and backend development teams to create new features that enhance the product experience.
• Leverage your technical expertise in front-end application development to create novel visualizations for structured and unstructured data.
• Implement new techniques for improving the performance and interactivity of the application using modern frameworks like React, GraphQL, TypeScript, and Node.js.

Requirements

• 10+ years of industry experience in building and maintaining high-quality software.
• A strong eye for design and a passion for creating products that provide an exceptional user experience.
• Ability to make the right trade-offs between functionality and delivery speed to deliver value to customers.
• Desire to be a great teammate and enjoy your work while maintaining ownership of your projects.
• Strong computer science fundamentals and a healthy curiosity to solve challenges.

Nice to Have

• Experience building software capabilities for analyzing large-scale data web applications.
• Prior experience working at a high-growth company solving technical problems.
