What You'll Do

• Design and develop a highly scalable, reliable Ads & Monetization platform that handles billions of requests daily.
• Collaborate with architects and senior engineers to build high-volume backend systems.
• Take ownership of individual projects, managing priorities, deadlines, and deliverables with your technical expertise.
• Work closely with the product team to understand business needs and translate them into development tasks.
• Provide technical direction and mentorship to other engineers, promoting engineering best practices.
• Be a role model in design and coding standards to ensure high-quality product delivery.

Requirements

• Proven experience leading the development of high-performing services in Java.
• Expertise in designing architecture for large-scale distributed systems.
• Familiarity with NoSQL systems such as Bigtable, Cassandra, and Elastic.
• Strong knowledge in System Design, Schema & Data Modeling, and Performance Analysis.
• Experience with multi-threading, asynchronous programming, and streaming/messaging technologies (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• BA/BS degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud environments such as Google Cloud Platform or AWS.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, test automation, Jenkins, and Gradle.
• Familiarity with open-source technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with distributed computing frameworks (Apache Spark, Flink).
• Background in AdTech platforms, including Ads Monetization and Demand Side Platforms.
