Staff AI Support Operations Engineer - Remote

About the Role

We're hiring a Staff AI Support Operations Engineer to join our innovative team in a fully remote capacity. As a foundational technical leader, you'll play a crucial role in shaping our AI-optimized data center infrastructure. This position offers a competitive salary range of $150,000 to $200,000 per year, along with bonuses and RSUs. What You'll Do

• Collaborate with engineering teams to architect, deploy, and support new AI compute clusters.
• Own and maintain NetBox and related systems to ensure accurate infrastructure data.
• Develop and enhance automation tools using Python, Ansible, and Terraform.
• Act as the highest technical escalation point for complex infrastructure issues.
• Create and maintain clear SOPs and technical documentation to establish operational excellence.
• Provide mentorship and technical leadership to elevate team performance.

Requirements

• Advanced operational knowledge of HPE, Dell, and SuperMicro platforms.
• Mastery of Python, Ansible, and Terraform for automation and orchestration.
• Strong experience in diagnosing and tuning Linux systems.
• Proven track record in resolving complex infrastructure failures.
• Experience operating and troubleshooting Kubernetes environments.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with NVIDIA Blackwell or Hopper architectures.
• Experience with InfiniBand or RoCE networking.
• Exposure to OpenStack or Canonical MAAS for provisioning.
