Special Projects Manager - Remote

Vocal Media is seeking a skilled and motivated Special Projects Manager - Remote to join our growing team. You will play a crucial role in shaping our internal roadmap and product development based on programming insights.

What You'll Do

• Help shape internal roadmap and product development based on programming insights.
• Take on special projects as necessary: proposals, reports, and new initiatives.
• Set strategy for recruiting and training a team of social media editors.
• Optimize onboarding and outreach strategies for continued program growth.
• Create and implement community engagement strategies to increase user retention.
• Oversee a community of social media editors, owning support needs.
• Build and maintain an active and engaged community.
• Oversee development of best practices and community resources.
• Act as a sounding board for burgeoning creators.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in organizing, community management, or social media.
• Understanding of TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube content strategies.
• Self-starter who can work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Passion for short-form video content and social media trends.
• Experience (or excitement about) building, growing, and managing online communities.
• Project management experience and close attention to detail.

Nice to Have

• Experience in digital media or project management.
• Familiarity with analytics tools to measure community engagement.
• Creative problem-solving skills.
