About the Role
We are seeking a passionate Spa Receptionist to join our team at Serenity Spa, located in Seaham Hall, County Durham. This Spa Receptionist role is integral to providing a five-star experience for our guests, ensuring that every interaction is warm and professional. As a Spa Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for guests, creating exceptional first impressions and managing bookings effectively. This position offers flexible hours, with up to 24 hours per week available on a 0-hour contract, making it ideal for those looking for part-time work in the luxury hospitality sector.
What You'll Do
- Deliver an exceptional guest journey from pre-arrival to departure as a Spa Receptionist.
- Manage spa bookings efficiently, maximizing availability and revenue.
- Complete all reception administration, including guest profiles, payments, and reporting.
- Maintain expert knowledge of spa treatments, packages, and promotions.
- Proactively promote spa services, retail, and offers to enhance guest experiences.
- Conduct engaging spa tours for guests to showcase our facilities.
- Handle guest queries and feedback professionally, ensuring satisfaction.
- Liaise with other departments to ensure seamless operations and guest experiences.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a spa, hospitality, or customer-facing role is desirable.
- Exceptional communication and guest service skills are essential.
- Strong attention to detail with a passion for delivering five-star experiences.
- Confident using booking systems, Microsoft Office, and general computer software.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
