What You'll Do

• Assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations including rotas, ordering, stock control, and menu management.
• Participate actively in the production and service of all food leaving the kitchen.
• Take an active role in the recruitment and training of junior chefs, fostering their development.
• Maintain exceptional cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
• Engage with customers to enhance their dining experience and collaborate effectively with the front-of-house team.
• Manage deliveries and stock to ensure the kitchen is well-equipped and running smoothly.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role within the food and beverage industry.
• Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety practices.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting.
