Software Tester - Remote Position

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and quality-driven Software Tester remote to ensure the reliability, functionality, and performance of our applications. As a Software Tester remote, you will be responsible for executing test cases, identifying defects, and collaborating with development teams to deliver high-quality software.

What You'll Do

• Design and execute test cases, test plans, and test scenarios.
• Perform manual testing of web and software applications.
• Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like JIRA or Bugzilla.
• Conduct functional, regression, integration, and usability testing.
• Collaborate with developers to resolve issues and improve product quality.
• Perform API testing using tools like Postman.
• Validate bug fixes and ensure issue resolution.
• Maintain proper test documentation and reports.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in Software Testing / QA.
• Strong understanding of STLC and SDLC.
• Hands-on experience in manual testing.
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla).
• Basic knowledge of API testing (Postman / Swagger).
• Understanding of web applications and client-server architecture.
• Basic knowledge of SQL for database validation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with automation testing tools (Selenium / Cypress).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology.
• ISTQB certification (preferred).
• Basic scripting knowledge (Java / Python).
