Software Engineer - Developer Experience for Robotics

About the Role

We are seeking a Software Engineer - Developer Experience to join our innovative team at Intrinsic. This remote Software Engineer role is pivotal in enhancing our engineering productivity as we aim to redefine industrial robotics through cutting-edge software and data solutions.

What You'll Do

• Advance the buildout of Intrinsic's inner-loop infrastructure to develop, build, and test code effectively.
• Design and build a best-in-class developer infrastructure from the ground up, integrating industry best practices with AI-powered development.
• Develop and evangelize best practices for building, packaging, and deploying software for next-generation robotics systems.
• Collaborate with a dynamic team of engineers, roboticists, and technologists to unlock the creative potential of industrial robotics.
• Utilize cloud platforms to support our robots' compute needs, ensuring real-time performance and reliability.

Requirements

• A degree in computer science or a related field.
• Experience working on collaborative software projects with 10+ contributors using distributed version control systems.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Golang, Python, Rust, or C++.
• Experience with build systems and CI/CD systems, including tools like Jenkins, Travis, or Circle CI.
• Familiarity with integrating IDEs into developer infrastructure, such as Visual Studio Code or IntelliJ.

Nice to Have

• Experience with distributed build farms and custom GitHub-based workflows.
• Knowledge of AI-based development, build, test, and review tools.
• Experience with monorepo setups.
