Software Developer - Local Marketing Automation (Remote)

About the Role

We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Developer to join our dynamic team remotely. In this role, you will be responsible for the scrum-based development of our Symfony-based SaaS platform dedicated to local marketing automation. Your work will directly impact over 60 clients who rely on our platform to streamline their marketing efforts. As a Software Developer remote, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop new features, improve system stability, and integrate external service providers and APIs.

What You'll Do

• Engage in scrum-based development of our Symfony SaaS platform for local marketing automation, ensuring timely delivery of features and updates.
• Integrate external service providers and APIs to enhance platform capabilities and streamline workflows.
• Participate in requirements engineering and technical concept development to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Ensure the quality and stability of the platform through automated integration and functional testing.
• Create, update, and maintain comprehensive technical documentation to facilitate knowledge sharing and future development efforts.
• Collaborate with team members to continuously improve development processes and software quality.

Requirements

• Professional experience with PHP frameworks such as Symfony or Laravel, demonstrating a solid understanding of application development and software architecture.
• Strong background in PHP and familiarity with RESTful API integration are essential.
• Experience working with relational databases and ORM tools like Doctrine or Eloquent.
• A degree or vocational training in computer science or a related field is required.
• Excellent communication skills in English at B2 level or higher are necessary for effective collaboration.
• Demonstrate strong self-management skills, a proactive attitude, and a passion for writing clean, reliable code that adheres to best practices.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Agile methodologies beyond Scrum.
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure).
• Knowledge of front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS).
