About the Role

What You'll Do

  • Operate the sludge treatment plant safely and efficiently, adhering to OHS requirements.
  • Manage daily processes, maintenance, and operational issues to ensure smooth plant operations.
  • Complete routine work orders, preventive maintenance, and breakdown repairs.
  • Conduct sample collection and laboratory analysis to monitor sludge quality.
  • Troubleshoot processes, solve problems, and identify improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • Perform routine maintenance and manage resources, tools, and equipment effectively.
  • Champion a safety-first culture and promote continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Valid C Class Car Licence.
  • Experience in plant operations preferred or currently studying a related field with site experience.
  • Knowledge and understanding of mechanical and electrical equipment is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and unsupervised.
  • Strong safety mindset and commitment to workplace safety.
