SIEM & SOAR Consultant - Remote Position for EU Candidates

About the Role

We are looking for a SIEM & SOAR Consultant - Remote to join our team at Whirr Crew. This is a full-time contract position starting on May 1, 2026, and ending on September 30, 2026, with the possibility of extension. As a SIEM & SOAR Consultant, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our security operations by designing, deploying, and maintaining automations within the XSIAM environment.

What You'll Do

• Design, deploy, and maintain automations within the XSIAM environment to improve operational efficiency.
• Develop and manage Palo Alto XSIAM playbooks and workflows to streamline security processes.
• Support security incident handling and automate response processes to ensure rapid resolution of security threats.
• Collaborate with internal security and infrastructure teams to enhance overall security posture.
• Assist with root cause analysis and incident investigations to identify vulnerabilities and improve security measures.
• Implement pre-approved operational changes within security systems to maintain compliance and stability.
• Ensure stable and compliant operation of XSIAM services to support organizational security objectives.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Palo Alto XDR/XSIAM is essential for this SIEM & SOAR Consultant - Remote role.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM technologies at an advanced level is required.
• Understanding of security incident workflows and automation processes is crucial.
• Experience with Palo Alto XSOAR is highly desirable.
• Nice to have: Experience in cloud information security and familiarity with Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) platforms.
• Scripting experience, particularly in Python, is a plus.
