Senior Web3 Engineer (Full Stack) - DeFi Platform
About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Web3 Engineer (Full Stack) to join Yieldschool, a leading education company that empowers investors to navigate the crypto landscape. As a Senior Web3 Engineer, you will play a crucial role in building our DeFi platform, New Market Trading (NMT), which automates yield generation through secure smart wallets. This position is fully remote, allowing you to work flexibly while contributing to a high-impact project.
What You'll Do
- Own and maintain the Next.js (App Router) + React + TypeScript codebase, ensuring high performance and scalability.
- Build user-friendly interfaces that translate complex on-chain data into intuitive dashboards for DeFi workflows.
- Implement wallet integrations such as MetaMask, WalletConnect, and Coinbase Wallet.
- Collaborate closely with backend engineers to design APIs and data structures that enhance application performance.
- Integrate with various DeFi protocols including Uniswap, Aave, and Yearn, ensuring seamless user experiences.
- Translate on-chain data into user-facing metrics like P&L, APY, and portfolio positions.
- Contribute to product development by building core features like portfolio tracking and yield opportunities.
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions, contributing to architecture decisions and scalability planning.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience building Web3 or crypto-native products.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript, React, and Next.js.
- Experience working with on-chain data, including RPC, logs, and subgraphs.
- Understanding of wallets, transaction lifecycles, and token standards (ERC-20, ERC-4626).
- Ability to translate complex blockchain data into intuitive user experiences.
Nice to Have
- Experience at a crypto exchange, DeFi protocol, or analytics platform.
- Familiarity with Gnosis Safe or smart wallet infrastructure.
- Background in DeFi aggregators or yield platforms.
- Experience with real-time data systems or financial dashboards.
- Contributions to Web3 open-source projects.
