About the Role

We are currently seeking a high-caliber professional to join our team as a Senior Vice President of Sales in a remote capacity. In this role, you will establish new client relationships with New to Bank and New to GTS customers, while understanding the risk profile of relevant products and clients. This Senior Vice President of Sales remote position offers the opportunity to communicate new products and propositions to clients and identify new sales opportunities in the local market.

What You'll Do

  • Manage key relationships with internal and external stakeholders, developing and maintaining strong working relationships.
  • Work with Client Implementation Services in a timely fashion to ensure an efficient transition process for complex clients.
  • Support achievement of HSBC's vision, values, goals, and culture in personal behavior, actions, and decision-making.
  • Provide technical leadership and support technical excellence by searching out external best practices.
  • Develop and recommend changes and improvements to operating models, procedures, and practices based on subject matter expertise.
  • Communicate and adhere to HSBC policy and procedures to ensure compliance and early identification of issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Extensive knowledge of global trade solutions, services, products, and techniques.
  • Good understanding of market trends, competitive environment, and regulatory environment.
  • Detailed knowledge of Credit and Risk, including techniques to mitigate risk.
  • Proven ability to identify and meet customer needs through a broad range of products and services.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to deliver compelling presentations in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
