Senior UI Mobile Software Engineer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Senior UI Mobile Software Engineer to join our innovative team. This remote position allows you to work from anywhere while contributing to exciting projects in the AR/VR division. As a Senior UI Mobile Software Engineer, you will collaborate with researchers and product partners to create cutting-edge user interfaces and ensure seamless backend integration.

What You'll Do

• Present designs, prototypes, and concepts to cross-functional partners and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with research, engineering, and other partners to execute and complete user experiences.
• Implement custom user interfaces using the latest programming techniques and technologies.
• Develop reusable software components for interfacing with backend platforms.
• Work with a variety of coding languages and technologies, including scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Hack.

Requirements

• Proven experience building maintainable and testable code bases, including API design and unit testing techniques.
• Exposure to architectural patterns of large-scale software applications.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Hack.
• Experience building Android applications in Java or Kotlin using Android SDK.
• Experience as an owner of a particular component, feature, or system, preferably with experience building complex applications for iPhone or iPad using Objective-C/C++/Swift with the iOS SDK and other frameworks.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with AR/VR technologies.
• Experience in a leadership role or mentoring junior developers.
• Knowledge of design patterns and best practices in mobile application development.
