Senior UI Designer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior UI Designer to join our team in a fully remote capacity. As a Senior UI Designer, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing customer experiences for a leading retailer in the pet industry. This Senior UI Designer remote position offers the chance to work on exciting projects that directly impact animal welfare and community engagement.

What You'll Do

• Lead and execute componentized UI work that aligns with a design system and supports developer handoffs.
• Collaborate with UX Research, principal designers, product managers, and engineers to drive UX initiatives from discovery through validation.
• Design for web and mobile experiences (iOS/Android) while adhering to Apple Human Interface Guidelines and Google Material Design.
• Craft e-commerce-centric flows optimized for conversion and usability, including PLP/PDP, cart, and checkout processes.
• Present insights and design rationale to diverse audiences, facilitating design reviews and workshops.
• Participate in cross-functional rituals such as UX labs, standups, and planning cadences, accommodating frequent feedback cycles.
• Balance speed with rigor to deliver MVP-focused solutions that respect engineering constraints and business priorities.
• Align performance metrics to business outcomes and contribute to priority initiatives and experiments.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience as a UI Designer in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency across web and mobile platforms, with a strong understanding of e-commerce flows.
• Excellent presentation skills, capable of translating research and design outcomes for varied audiences.
• Collaborative nature with experience in workshops and daily UX standups.
• Hands-on expertise with Figma and design systems, producing developer-ready handoffs.
• Business-minded approach aimed at driving measurable outcomes.
• Experience operating within an agile planning cadence.

• Familiarity with personalization, auto-ship, and AI features.
• Experience in a triad-model environment supporting various interfaces.
