What You'll Do

• Lead the engineering team responsible for the digital ecosystem that supports patients with implantable cardiac devices.
• Drive the development of secure device connectivity and real-time data platforms.
• Build and scale a world-class engineering center in Galway, collaborating with global teams to enhance patient monitoring.
• Implement modern DevOps practices, clean CI/CD, and automated testing to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Engage in product strategy and architecture decisions to enhance reliability and patient safety.
• Attract and develop top engineering talent, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
• Design systems that streamline engineering processes and remove friction from development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.

Requirements

• Level 8 degree with a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience, including over 10 years in a managerial role.
• Proven experience in scaling software engineering organizations and leading multiple teams.
• Strong technical leadership skills with a focus on architecture, verification, and validation.
• Experience with modern software development methodologies and agile practices.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity practices and risk management in regulated environments.

• Global operating experience, particularly with distributed teams across time zones.
