About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Media Essentials team at Glia. This Senior Software Engineer remote position offers the opportunity to work on innovative AI solutions that enhance customer interactions in the financial sector. You will play a crucial role in building rich media solutions that drive deep interactions for our clients.

What You'll Do

• Lead the development of world-class rich media solutions as a Senior Software Engineer remote.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable systems that support Glia's ambitious Voice+AI roadmap.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of AI technologies.
• Utilize your expertise in cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS, to enhance our platform's capabilities.
• Implement best practices in code quality, testing, and CI/CD to ensure high standards of software delivery.

Requirements

• 5-8 years of professional software development experience.
• Proven track record in leading complex technical projects and taking ownership of outcomes.
• Strong understanding of compiled, strictly-typed languages and design patterns.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS, and containerized applications.
• Commitment to code quality with experience in unit testing, integration testing, and test-driven development.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Go, C++, Rust, or C.
• Familiarity with event-driven architecture and SIP/VoIP technologies.
• Experience in real-time media streaming application development (e.g., WebRTC).
