About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack Remote to join our dynamic team at Doctolib. As a pivotal member of our engineering teams, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our healthcare technology platform, which significantly impacts the lives of healthcare professionals and patients across Europe. What You'll Do

  • Design, develop, and maintain full-stack solutions using React and TypeScript on the frontend, and the JVM ecosystem (Java, Kotlin) on the backend.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality products that prioritize performance, security, and usability.
  • Proactively monitor system health by contributing to SLIs/SLOs, alerts, and operational excellence.
  • Engage in code reviews and testing to uphold code quality and continuously improve our development practices.
  • Share your expertise and collaborate with other teams to evolve Doctolib's architecture and technical standards.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a full-stack software engineer, particularly with React and TypeScript on the frontend and Java/Kotlin on the backend.
  • A user-first mindset with a commitment to building secure, well-tested, and pragmatic code.
  • Strong understanding of system reliability and experience in contributing to the monitoring and operational health of production systems.
  • Proactive, curious, and eager to share knowledge through pair programming and collaboration.
  • Bonus: Experience in healthcare technology or regulated industries, and familiarity with AI tools.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Ruby is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience in developing applications that prioritize accessibility and performance.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and a rigorous testing culture.
