Senior Cloud Security Engineer - Remote Opportunity in Cybersecurity

We are seeking a Senior Cloud Security Engineer to join our innovative team at Immersive Labs. What You'll Do

• Utilize your expertise in cloud technology to design, develop, and enhance cloud security labs and online learning content on the Immersive platform.
• Produce engaging multi-format content using various teaching methods, including practical exercises, gamification, and assessments.
• Test and validate Cloud Security labs to ensure they function as intended.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Content teams on new projects/products and determine the best deployment strategies.
• Research and stay updated on the latest trends in cloud security, including AWS, Azure, and GCP technologies.
• Contribute to the development of our AWS, Azure, and GCP content roadmap and vendor technology integration plans.
• Educate cloud security professionals on best practices and innovative approaches to security.
• Drive the evolution and disruption within the Cloud Security space by creating simulated environments for both hacking and defending.

Requirements

• Proven experience in production-critical infrastructures and Cloud environments with a strong focus on security.
• Extensive knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, including expertise in security, identity, and access management.
• Experience with cloud SIEMs, such as Microsoft Sentinel or Google SecOps.
• Solid containerization experience, particularly with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with serverless technologies and network security best practices.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure automation and deployment, specifically using Terraform.
• Software development experience, particularly in Golang and Python.
• Experience working within a DevSecOps, Cloud Security, or SRE function, focusing on availability, reliability, and automation.

Nice to Have

• Experience with CSPM or CNAAP tooling.
• Knowledge of cloud monitoring and security tools.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
